Jadon Sancho breaks silence on Instagram amid Juventus transfer rumours and it’s left Man Utd fans confused

Jadon Sancho’s latest social media post has got Manchester United fans talking.

With just a few days left of the summer transfer window, Englishman Sancho has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

Despite featuring in the club’s pre-season tour of the United States, Sancho was left out of the squad for Premier League matches against Fulham and Brighton and Hove Albion.

On Wednesday afternoon, it was reported that Sancho could be set to leave United.

RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins wrote on social media: “BREAKING Agreement between Manchester United and Juventus for Jadon Sancho. Loan + obligation to buy. The player keen to the move.”

Sancho then posted a video of him doing a shooting drill alongside United teammates Bruno Fernandes and Antony on his Instagram story.

The footage showed Sancho controlling the ball on the edge of the box before unleashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “Add another 5m onto his fee.”

Another tweeted: “Is bro trying to let us know he’s not going anywhere?”

A third fan added: “Sancho is going nowhere.”

Someone else wrote: “Getting ready for Juventus loan move.”

A fifth commented: “Juve and Chelsea should pay up.”

Another fan added: “Weird time to put this? Isn’t he on the way out of the club?”

When asked why Sancho was not picked for the squad against Brighton, United boss Erik ten Hag said: “He’s here [at the stadium], but I had a choice to make.

“We had some issues, we need a full squad. He’s one of them. He has to compete in his position.”

He added: “Game-by-game we will have a look. We need two players in every position because it is a long season.”

United are back in Premier League action this weekend when they welcome fierce rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
