According to information from Sky Sports Italia, Juventus has officially made their first offer to Manchester United for midfielder Jadon Sancho.
After successfully offloading forward Federico Chiesa to Liverpool for a total of €13 million, Juventus is now focusing all their efforts on bringing in another left-winger to replace the Italian star at Allianz Stadium.
In recent times, Manchester United’s forward Sancho has been one of the names heavily linked with a move to the Old Lady.
Although the English star has resolved his conflict with coach Erik ten Hag, it is believed that he is no longer part of the Dutch manager’s future plans. In Manchester United’s first two matches of the 2024/25 Premier League season, the 24-year-old was not included in the squad. Old Trafford is reportedly ready to part ways with the former Borussia Dortmund star if they receive an offer worth around €45 million.
Recently, sources from Sky Sports Italia confirmed that the Turin-based club has officially submitted an offer to Manchester United for Sancho. Juventus is proposing a loan fee of around €7-8 million with an option to buy him outright next summer.
Additionally, the Allianz Stadium side hopes that the Red Devils will help cover a portion of the English winger’s hefty £300,000 per week salary. Manchester United has not yet made a decision, but Juventus is eager to hear a response from their counterparts today.
Besides Juventus, Chelsea is also reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the 2000-born player. The Blues are looking to execute a swap deal involving Raheem Sterling and Sancho, but Manchester United has not agreed to this idea.
