A report has revealed the timeline for Leny Yoro’s Manchester United return, having suffered an injury in pre-season.
Man United beat Real Madrid to the signing of Yoro, who joined the club in a transfer worth £58.9 million.
The 18-year-old made his debut for the Red Devils shortly after his transfer was confirmed.
He started against Rangers and shone at the back, impressing fans on social media.
Yoro then travelled to the United States for Man United’s pre-season tour and started his side’s game against Arsenal.
But he lasted just 32 minutes as he was replaced in the first-half.
The Frenchman has been seen using crutches and wearing a protective boot following his injury in Man United’s 2-1 defeat.
It sparked fears of a lengthy absence with the new season just a few weeks away.

However, according to Neil Custis, Yoro will only miss the opening three games of the new Premier League season with a metatarsal injury.
That means he would be unavailable for selection against Fulham, Brighton and Liverpool.
Per the injury timeline, it puts his return date on September 14 at Southampton.
Speaking after Man United’s pre-season clash against the Gunners, Erik ten Hag admitted he was disappointed by the defender’s injury.
“It is too short [notice] we have to wait over 24 hours and then we know hopefully more,” he said.
“We were very careful especially with Leny. He did only 50 per cent from the sessions so it was very disappointing that he had to come off but let’s be positive and see what is coming out.”
Ten Hag’s team resume their pre-season tomorrow when they face La Liga outfit Real Betis in San Diego, California.
